Well after so many said it was so good, and after me being very cynical after the dismal 'Empire'... have gotta say the new Kasabian album is very good! Top album! Wasn't too bothered about them at Glasto this year as seen the before - but now wanna see them again.

i dunno why but i've never really enjoyed listening to kasabian on CD, but think they're amazing live, even though i don't know the songs really well they just blow me away.

but this album is sounding amazing so may have to get it before glasto!

I love Kasabian.... all albums are great, new one is supurb!

But anyone who says that Empire is a poor album is talking SHITE, their gigs would not be the same without some of those stonking hits!!!

yeh the review in the entertainment bit of the times was 4/5. maybe they mean it wasnt well written?... great album, secret alphabets, underdog, fast fuse, where did the love go, take aim, thick as thieves and fire are all very good tracks but theres no filler and albums good. better than both empire ad kasabian for me. cannot wait to see them

Yeah it's a fantastic album. Any band that releases three good albums is a top band imo and they more than deserve their spot below Springsteen. Would of been a good shout for Sunday Pyramid had it not been for Blur. It's the type of music that would get the crowd going, a la Prodigy. Along with the Specials I would say they are the band I am looking forward to most.

On another note, Eavis seems to have gone for people who are assured to give great live performaces this year, Young, the Boss, Specials, Kasabian etc.

They were fricking AWESOME last night!

It was the 4th time me & the other half have seen them & we both agree that last night was definitely the best.

Roll on Glasto!!
