I agree with Efestivals. It's very Babylon-centric.

And Armatrading was brilliant last year, utterly breath-taking. Best thing I've seen at Glasto in years.

Elbow are in my opinion a shockingly boring band by the way!! Vampire weekend stole it last year for me, but Neil you're right, most people you ask would say somebody different.

This year though, I agree with Mr Ploppy it's going to be Rolf!!

I reckon Madness will be one of the performances - imagine a couple of hundred thousand people singing along to 'it must be love', 'House of fun' and 'baggy trousers' - gonna be a classic!

Surely it depends on who you like and who you saw. I know a couple of people that don't rate Radiohead's performance in 97 because they don't like Radiohead. Which is fair enough.

In my opinion last year was well and stolen by Mr Jay Zed. I watched out of curiosity from the campsite as I was getting a few more beers and was blown away. I'm not saying it was the best performance of the weekend, but it was the one that made the biggest impact on me.

Last year's best act was Blockheads for me. This is a silly poll, as it's just based in an area I rarely visit; but just picking from that list, it's got to be Specials. Everyone who has seen them since reforming has said that it is the best gig they have ever been to!

errmmm didn't Emily say just recently that there was scope for classic performances this year, listed a few previous years ones, one was Cash in 04 and Radiohead's legendary gig and then listed Elbow 08. Its pretty much general consencus that Elbow stole it last year also i thought, amongst critiscs and goers alike
