i loved eagles first album but i havent been fussed about there recent one at all, they are still a great live band though!

Gene Trautman is their drummer for the most part, Josh does the recording and occasional live appearances but he's got all sorts of other stuff going on with QOTSA and various other stuff so he simply doesn't have time.

he does occasionally play drums for the band but it's very very rare and usually for special occasions but it wouldn't surprise me if he actually did play for this as he knows how big a deal glastonbury is.

and as somebody else just mentioned he is down as playing their gig at the brixton academy a few days before the glasto appearance.

i can't wait to see them regardless of whether he is there or not as i love EoDM i've seen them about 10 times over the years and they are easily one of the best live acts i have seen and are such great fun live, and if Homme doesn't play we get to hear the awesome Joey Castillo instead and he can smack the shit out of those badboys!

I saw them in Leeds on the recent tour and can vouch for the fact that Joey Castillo is a totally amazing drummer. Much better than Homme in fact, if we're honest. So if there's no Homme don't let that put you off. They are one of the best live bands I've seen in the last few years. Jesse the Devil is a legend.

However, all this pales into insignificance compared to THE SIZE OF THE BASS PLAYER'S FREAKISHLY MASSIVE HANDS!

Seriously - check those bad boys out.

Actually I'm not sure the picture does them justice. You'll have to go and see them in the flesh. But trust me - these are pedigree w*nking spanners.

I was at the citidel gig, saw you mother funks and some others on the plane! I often wondered if you were you on here and now I know!

This probably doesn't add anything, but I recall Mr Dave Grohl playing drums for the QOTSA at Glasto a few years ago - its a special kinda gig, so maybe he will make an appearance, but either way I am gonna be there!!!

Apart from Chemistry it was the worst Queens gig of the dozen or so ive seen. Brutal.
