Funkyfairy!
Just thought I'd share what a saphead I am ! For the last 15+ years I've wanted to do to Glastonbury (probably longer) and instead have gone to V festival - and loved it but this year the year of turning the big 40 I decided this is the year to do it! Now it's getting close, Ive just read the 'offical website', tickets turned up today and I can;t stop crying - out of pure happiness What on earth am I going to be like when I'm there- when I'm at the stone circle and the Wednesday afternoon footy match (hubby has just asked if I'd like to go Wednesday instead of Thursday - cue change boat time and more tears ) If someone sees a blubbering wreck on Wednesday, Thursday etc say hello !!!!! I'm going to be like a kid in a sweet shop - bring it on !

Chickenburger
This guy can't be for real? Crying because his tickets turned up and he went on a website. Imagine what he will be like at 2am in the morning after an all day session.

Mr Ploppy
Imagine waking up one day and finding out you can fly. Imagine waking up one day and finding there is a spring of endless champagne flowing in your garden. Imagine waking up one day and finding you have the ability to control the weather directly above your house making you the envy of your neighbours - if not the world. Well... All those things pale into insignificance compared to the joy and fun that awaits you at Glasto. MrPloppy
rostalof
Take it you're a Dub then Jacks? If so, good aul Irish Ferries will get you there in good shape!!!
ahardbattle
At Glasto you are free to laugh or cry to your hearts content. You won't be judged but you may find random lovely people running up and hugging you if you feel the need to cry (even if it's with sheer joy!) mandypants
I can see me having a good old blub when I get there and it all hits me, and I'll cry my eyes out when it's time to leave!
Thatmax
I never cry with happiness, but being at certain festivals does make me feel the happiest I will ever be in that year.

FunkyDenz
If you recognise me just come up and say "I'm Jacks from eFestivals and I'm here for a hug!" That goes for everyone really. I love hugs.
kyjenni
Won't you get suspicious by the time the third person comes along saying they're Jacks?
StoneCircle
I'd find that funny! What I meant was that anyone could come up and say "I'm FunkyDenz from eFestivals and I'm here for a hug". Each of those moments would make my day
FunkyDenz
Not so sure about that, I was wearing an Orange poncho given out by Orange at last year's Glasto, there were loads of people wearing them. Will still come up for my hug though
Joshuwarr
Best thread for ages. Nothing is better than experiencing or seeing the excitement in a Glasto first timer. My first time last year was everything I ever expected and so much more. My happiest memories arent even the music. Its the amazing people, the unpredictable weather and impromptu decisions you make that end up making the day.
Funkyfairy!
I'm emotional too, I will probably have happy tears when I walk on to the site and many more times over the weekend! Had a bit of an emotional time over the last few months and anything can set me off at the moment. If you're at the footy match I'll be there with me pompoms, I shouldn't be crying there unless a high kick has gone horribly horribly wrong. If you recognise me just come up and say "I'm Jacks from eFestivals and I'm here for a hug!" That goes for everyone really. I love hugs.
