There's a good FAQ on the Glasto Earth site.

It really depends what you are looking for in a campsite. Lively? Bit quieter? Near the Pyramid? Nearer the night time entertainment? It is all down to personal preference really. Everyone will have their fave.

Try towards the top of hills, for example Dragon Fields, top of Pennards Hill, Wicket Ground, Hitchen Hill

what time are michaels mead, home ground and big ground usually full?? do you reckon there will be room for 4/5 tents on wednesday afternoon/evening?

big ground filled up incredibly quickly last year- we set up at 8 ish and by 1 it was nearly full, only room for small tents dotted about. not sure about the other sites though!

i camped paines ground last year - a bit far away from everything - but nicely removed that you could get a decent nights sleep and have a lot of space to chill.
