Nick May
Ok it's not going to be on the big stages, just two of the minor ones (tiny ones in fact) but nevertheless we are a bonafide actual band booked to play Glastonbury 09' - officially on The Tadpole Stage (6pm Friday) and The Mandala Stage (6pm Saturday and Sunday). Both are in The Green Futures Field of the Green Fields area of the festival. The problem is we've only got three artists/performers passes alloted to us which isn't enough to bring our full line-up into the festival, so we need some extra player/performers who are already going to be in the festival anyway, just to make up the numbers and supplement our line-up. We don't need typical rock instruments, such as guitar bass drums etc, but instuments such as strings , brass or sax , flutes and other woodwinds, harp or keyboards could all be useful. Kind of celtic folk or orchestral instrumentation mainly. But in fact, having said that, if you play anything at all (other than guit/bass/drums) feel free to volunteer it. It's mainly instrumental material we'll be playing (not songs as such) and we're using a laptop sequencer so there's plenty of room for just loose jamming over the top, though if anyone wanted to do something more involved or worked out that could be arranged too. No need to be a virtuoso. Though the music sounds complex at first - there's plenty going on from the laptop sequencer to carry it, if you just wanted to wing it with some really basic jamming underneath. We're flexible enough to be able to adapt to people of any musical standard. All levels welcome. So , if you want to be able to tell all your friends, - "I'm playing Glastonbury this year", then just leave some details below ....

LupineHowl
Hi, sounds interesting! I generally play trad instruments (guitar, bass) but can sing pretty well and play harmonica too. Would also be willing to bash a drum in time to the music!
ig1234
Whimwise?? You were on some prog compilation with a magazine I bought a year or two back weren't you? Damn. Only non-trad instrument I play averagely is madolin, and my mandolin is a bit crap.
