I was at the front of the pyramid crowd with my fella last year watching Amy Winehouse just after she 'punched a fan' when she decided to stop right in front of us and 'sing' the camera was just on the three of us so we felt quite famous after lots of txts from people saying they had seen our 15 seconds of fame :S

I'm building up quite a library of Glastonbury DVDs I've burnt from BBC coverage, it helps to get me through the long wait for the following years festival. I've got some classic footage that I witnessed first hand like the stage invasion during Iggy Pop ("You can't hit a man dressed as a clown!"), and Eddy Grant jokingly abusing the stage manager ("50 years and he wants me to hurry up! 'kin 'ell").

I've actually had nightmares about being at the festival and realising I haven't set the hard drive to record. The BBC coverage may be painful at times, and not reflect the spirit of the festival, butI know what I experienced, and armed with a fast forward button can take myself back to some superb moments.

Only difficulty sometimes is deciding on recording BBC2 or BBC3, but now have another DVD burner on another freesat box, so I should have no problems getting 50 odd hours of footage this year!

I actually love the BBC's coverage, because I love the big acts as much as I love the dance village and smaller stage acts that don't make the coverage, it means that while I'm there I can stick to the latter 2 safe in the knowledge that I'm seeing the things that you only get to see at if your at Glasto. Then I can catch everything I missed on the telly when I get home and veg out for 3 days solid.

The 3 days after the festival are part of the whole experience imo, vegging out in bed all day tuesday watching the coverage helps the come down big time.

Aside from that I'm not sure I'd want the coverage to show what the festival is really like, first of all it keeps 50% if the festival Britain's best kept secret. Glasto was soooo much better the first time I went because I had absolutely no comprehension of what I was about experience.

Secondly I think if the likes of The Daily Mail knew what actually happened they could very easily turn it into one of their retarded 'moral crusades'.

it'll all be on the torrent sites and tht. thebox.bz is very good for this sort of thing (you need to be a member). last year they had just about all the coverage

Me, I'm not so fussed about watching it afterwards, but it's nice to have.

Not sure on Sky+, i have a Topfield PVR on Freeview and it will record the 301 / 303 interactive channels with no problem, i will take some time to check all the listings and programme it to record as much as i can, there is enough room on the hard drive (250gig ) to record it all. Plus about it is i can connect it up to the computer, transfer it and burn to DVD
