Shit this has just reminded me I need to find the time to watch the whole of the last series of heroes so I can get some space on the + box! Could be a tiring few weeks.

In our last flat, we weren't allowed to put a dish up so were forced to use Virgin for TV. As much as their cable broadband is great (apart from the traffic shaping) the TV is abysmal. Poorly, cheaply made hardware. Poorly, cheaply made software, STILL one HD channel. You have to pay for the V+ box but you don't get to keep it. The folk on the other end of the phone are useless etc... I'm going off topic though.

The point I wanted to make was that last year (or maybe 2007 in fact) I programmed it to record tons of stuff then got home to find a black screen, even after I powered it on and off again. What was Virgin's solution? Format the Hard Drive in it. F*ckers. Never got any of it. Managed to download some of it but still...

This year, it'll all be going (hopefully sucecessfully) onto my Sky HD box.

Oh God, not again . . . Radcliffe's efforts are reasonable, but why these tired presenters peddling out the same sarcastic crap as last year about all the 'wacky, hippy things' going on around the site (which they have never even seen having never left the comfort of their watchtower).
