Those waiting for deposits to be refunded

There was a post the other week (can't find it now) about someone still waiting for their deposit to be refunded after not paying the balance on their ticket.

I have just got off the phone to a friend who had a person bail at the last minute. Apparently See have refunded the money but it has never reached the person who paid the deposits account. They did a merchant search (whatever that is) which apparently proves that it was sent to HSBC. Somewhere between HSBC and the account, the money has gone walkies. So just thought I would post that incase anyone is still waiting for a refund and wants to check it out.

Thanks for the info Laura_Babs , that could've been me. We were waiting for about £350 to be refunded. I should've updated my thread really, turns out it was a similar scenario to your mate. To cut a long, stressful, story short - the bank ballsed up, not See. So I was harassing the wrong people the whole time (oops). The money is finally in there now tho. Woop!

But yeah, if anyone else is still waiting for money back it's worth contacting the bank as well as See.
