Iv just won 2 tickets

I already have my tickets for me and my girlfriend and today I got a call to say Iv won 2 more. I can give any 2 names to be printed on the tickets and the people who take them have to take there own photo Id. My sister and bro in law would like to come. What I'm wondering is if i could sell the 2 tickets and buy my sisters ticket's and keep the change for my spends. Problem is I don't know if they would still be able to get tickets, and I need to let the competition organizer know the names of the people who are going by Sunday.

Would I be able to get a buyer by Sunday, and how much would they sell for? Plus would my sister still get a ticket now? I'm not even sure if she is registered. They both went last year but didn't 'tick the box' which lets you stay registered as far as I'm aware. In fact they got there tickets las minute last year so they might not have had to register.

I entered the competition in good faith thinking that there where no tickets Left, they where supposed to be sold out after all. I would never usually sell ticket for profit won or bought, but I'm already going and I'm real skin at the moment, I borrowed money to get the tickets so I wouldn't feel guilty about selling them if someone if prepared to pay over the odds.

Doubt your sister will get a ticket now, although if she's not registered she might not be able to claim the won tickets either i'd get it confirmed by the Comp company.

Another point to make is how to prove you have tickets to a potential buyer.

If it was me, i'd get your sister and her fella's names put on the tickets and for them to cover the cost of your tickets?

To be honest this is a more likely option. I could give them the tickets and they could just give me a bit of spending money for while I'm there.

I'm gonna buy them 2 tickets with the money *IF* i do go ahead with it. If its not plausible then I WILL just give them to them both. They are going either way. I'm not talking about selling them for stupid money, just enough to buy 2 tickets at face value for them and have a little bit for me.

sum1 put a ticket they won in a comp on ebay, got to 500 pretty quick, however, their sale is prohibited on ebay, but this person if i remember had contacted ebay, explained the situation (couldnt go i think) and they said it was alright to sell them, id do the same if i was in ur situation, dont really see why people are so against the resale of a couple of tickets on here for legit reasons. id say ebay, explain the situation, list them in a quick buy it now or short auction.

Normally, I'd argue against selling them, particularly over face value; howerver, if you're broke, why not ask if they would consider paying 50% of the face value of the ticket, then you all effectively get to go for half price?

Worst case..........see if they will buy them for half price and as such all 4 of you go for half price and share the burden of payment and benifit of half price tickets...........fair is fair........

Why enter the competition if you already had tickets? It's one thing if you're going to be nice and give them to your sister and her other half, but did you intend on profiteering if you won when you entered? It just seems ridiculously harsh on the people out there who would have given anything to win a ticket because they are so broke they can't even afford the ticket let alone the spending money you think is a justifiable reason for selling them on above cost price.

Don't be a plank, please. Just give the tickets you won to your sister, or as was already mentioned, if you're that in much in need of money, then ask your sister to help you out in turn.

I managed to get tickets while they have been 'sold out'. I forgot had totally forgot about the competition. I have no intention of trying to make a load of cash of these, like i said IF I did sell them it would be for face alue plus a bit of cash to spend at the festival. Dont see whats wrong with that, its prize for gods sake!
