Just been checking out some bands that i dont know much about, Does anyone know much about golden silvers? Thay are a must see in the Queens Head on the Thursday.

really good, i saw them on the other stage last year.

3 piece, bass/drums/keys & vocals, the singer sounds a bit like joe strummer.

Love this band at the moment, particularly the track Arrows Of Eros, but bit of a contentious statement there...surely it's more Carl Barat or the Ordinary Boys' singer?

Mate saw them in London recently, said it was the worst gig he'd ever been to and left half way through.

Must say, the footage I've seen on TV, does sound a bit thin and tinny live with only keys on top of a rhythm section.

I was planning on catching them a couple times over the weekend to be honest but on that will be judging them on their first performance at the Queens Head I think.
