[b]Hi every1,

I was wondering if somebody could give me some advice. I bought a Glastonbury ticket without any insurance, as i never thought anything could ever stop me from going! Now i've fell ill and will need to go into hospital and will not of recovered by the time of the festival. I'm devastated! Is there anything i can do to re-claim my money or any other ideas? Its a lot to loose. My money and t5he festival in 1 go! :-( x

Could be worth phoning See and explaining your situation - if you find someone in need of a ticket with money and reg waiting then they may be able to transfer the ticket?

sorry to hear you can't go!

Thanks guys! I've already tried the Glastonbury folk but they've said a refund is not possible. I've rang see tickets and they've said the same. I don't know where i would find a buyer as you can't sell them on ebay can you? xx

Oh right. Well i'm female, early twenties with fair hair. I don't think i dare put it on Ebay as somebody told me it would be cancelled and i'd loose the ticket completely without a refund. Don't know if this is true or not? xx

The scanner thing is a UV light it shows a hidden mark up.

Do you know where abouts the uv bit is on the ticket?? Some of my ticket has a big grease stain on it now from being in the bin. I don't want it to get rid of the uv markings.

  • 2 weeks later...

We've got a similar predicament. Missus is 8 weeks pregnant but completely wiped out at the moment with 'moring' sickness and isn't going to be up to going to Glastonbury.

Annoying thing is my sister's boyfriend is well up for going in her place, but short of donning a blonde wig, can't see anyway he can go in her place! Any other festival and it wouldn't be an issue!
