I haven't done it myself but I know people who have. Apparently litter-picking is far better than working at the recycling centre, it is less disgusting and gives you a chance to move around. You might get a sore back, but make sure you always pick going up hill to prevent this! There are lots of things you might come across... random change and various small items that no one would ever claim. The people I know who did it made loads of nice friends who they spent loads of time with. They then met them at various other festivals over the summer and have plans to meet again working this year. Apparently the food they do for workers is really nice and proper filling meals. No one I know who did it found it unbearable at all, they're all doing it again as far as I know. I would but I'm not yet 18 . But it actually doesn't sound too bad at all, I'm sure you'll have a great time!

Not done it myself but i think you get access to staff only toilets, showers and seperate camping and of couse theres always the chance to find random bags of fun chemicals
