Very selfish using them in the middle of a packed crowd. If you haven't got decent enough waterproofing take a walk to the Millets store on site, dont redirect the rain to the peple standing next to you, and ruin the performance for everyone behind you.

To the video screen poster, I've gone to Glastonbury rather than stayed at home so I don't have to watch it on a TV screen, no matter how big.

Of course they're fine if you're chilling at the back somewhere.

I can't remember which recent year it was when I was at the pyramid and a couple of drops of rain fell and the brollies imediately went up. My immediate thought was that it wouldn't have happened 10 years previously. Made it look like a crowd at a friggin golf match or something.

Don't do it people!

So, I'm watching a band in the rain and some idiot in front of me has their umbrella up.

Do I...

1 ignore it?

2 ask them nicely to put their umbrella down?

3 kick off and call them an idiot for having something in their hand that blatently restricts to view of the people behind them?

...come on people with umbrellas, a liitle rain isn't going to kill you. Stop being a bell-end and think about your fellow man.

..don't get me startesd on flags. They're just as bad but the peron holding them is about 50 people in front of you and you can't shout at them.

You know considering Glastonbury is meant to be the festival with the highest level of tolerance I love all these threads that pop up giving out about minor things that other festival goers do that gets on peoples nerves and the strong wording that goes with them. This may be a radical idea but if someone is annoying you by their behaviour perhaps move away from them? It is a massive festival. It might be more in the spirit of Glastonbury than suggesting they have their umbrella rammed up their arse.

Are there actual police men at Glasto? I find that outrageous.

I work my fingers to the bone all year, i have exams coming out of my ears and i just want to get absolutely f**ked for a few days. Why are they making this so difficult? Who am I harming?

I am going to have to write a strongly worded letter to David Cameron about this farce.

Does your tolerance extend to people pissing in the bushes, littering, setting sound systems up 2 feet from your tent in the middle of the night? I doubt it. There really is nothing wrong with sensible posts asking people to behave considerately.
