It's never happened to me at a festival, and while it probably does, you'd be unlucky.

Going to an oasis gig is literally like asking for someone to pour piss on you though. It happens so much the chances of getting hit are 100%

I wouldn't see them again. Disgusting crowd.

it happens a lot at big scottish gigs for some reason. i refuse to think about it, set my brain to 'it's water or lager, not piss' and get on with my night. straight in the shower on arrival home though.

Saw Oasis in Bournemouth last year and got covered in piss.

I have to admit that I have pissed in a few bottles/cups while at gigs but I just put them on the floor. Why do people see the need to launch them?

it does happen - but as someone has already said, I have not seen it at glastonbury.

my worst experience was not getting a cupful thrown into me, but a guy that decided that as it was raining and me and my friend had our waterproof ponchos on, it would be a good idea to take a leak on them, behind us. sick. luckily my bf spotted him before it was too late and told him where to go - left us paranoid though for the rest of the evening.

I was in the circle at TITP a few years ago before the Strokes played and was talking to a girl when a whole cup of p1ss landed on here.

Fortunately I had a spare t-shirt in my bag.

In Scotland there are a lot of drinks thrown about, which I don't think happens so much elsewhere, but throwing p1ss is just wrong.

I have pissed in a few cups now and again but always make sure they are disposed of safely.

i was at a gig in bristol a few years ago and the back of my legs started to get warm ,when i turned around there was a guy having a piss over me , i went mental and offered the fool out ,he couldnt see what i was so worked up about so to get even i spat in his face , im not a violent person but this idiot deserved it

I saw someone taking a piss whilst watching massive attack last year i went to say something, but clearly he had know idea what was going on so i just moved and counted myself lucky to be dry.

Is it ok to piss in a cup and throw it on the floor? if so that makes me very happy, i have a ridiculosly weak bladder and when drinking lots of cider this results in a lot of trips to the toilet. So please tell me i can piss in a cup i promise i wont throw it, other than on the floor.

We had an etiquette thread about this sort of thing on a board I used to post on - the most useful tip came from one of the men, who said that if you're pissing in a cup, put your thumb on the inside so you can tell when it's getting full

Have sadly seen this happening at Glastonbury, but less than at "harder" gigs.

There's no excuse for emptying it on the floor either, it's worse than pissing in the bushes as at least then no one has got to walk around in it. I like to wear sandals in good weather FFS.

If your bladder is that weak go before the gig starts and drink less. If you can't cope with this then stand furthur back where you can access the toilets quickly.

My faith in humanity is eroded everytime I see someone trying to justify this sort of behaviour, which if you attempted outside a crowd would see you arrested or hospitalised.

Saw a bunch of t0$$ers firing small apples up into the sky with a high strength catapult at the Leeds Festival in 2006.

Am sure that if one of those come down and hit you on the head it would possibly knock you out cold.

Afterall, if you drop a penny coin off the top of Blackpool Tower it will go straight through any person it hits below.

Leeds is full of horrible little twats. Throwing deoderant cans into fires, robbing tents etc. Caught one in my tent a couple of years ago. Took great pleasure in volleying him up the arse and seeing him scarper like a cat.

It is rife in the scallie/chav/knobjockey filled festivals but Glasto imho is pretty cool and cups of piss rarely happen...

I'm just surprised no-one has offered up an offending photo yet so I'll put one up!
