Newbie question about camping

Boyfriend and I are arriving about 1ish in the afternoon on saturday because of prom on the friday

Just wondering, how hard will it be to find a wee bit of space for our tent?

Plenty space for 1 tent if you arrive late.

I remember 2 years ago @ TITP there were people desperate and pitching tents in big muddy puddles, next to toilets e.t.c... We spotted a free patch of grass and were legging down the hill tripping over, mental.

we arrived 9pm last year. theres loads of spaces. specialy in red zone.

I dont know about Rock Ness, but T is horrible for the late comers. Anything after about 6 o clock of the Friday is disgusting. Like we always get down at about 2PM so there is plenty of space them but when walking to the arena on the Saturday morning you find folk camping in the mud and in the piss and shit of the toilets and like on the main walk way to the arena. I couldn't do that, it would ruin my weekend if I had to literally place my tent on top of someone else.

The worst thing is when you get there early and there's plenty of space so you're fine. Then you wake up the next day and there's folk camped virtually on top of you. A total pain.

i ended up camping right next to the walkway at t in the park last year. it totally ruined the tent cos folk kept tripping over it even though it was within the lines.
