Andy_T
When it's been busy at work the last few weeks I've often wondered how much my employer would have to offer me for me to be persuaded not to go to Glasto if something major came up. It'll never happen like, but if it did it would have to take a very very large sum of money. Just wondering in these times of recession what everyone else thinks
Detective McNulty
10k and i absolutely wouldn't take a penny less. I've never looked forward to anything so much, and the only way i would console myself with not going would be to spend 10k on a 6 month binge in SE Asia. krisskross
£10000 and i'd promise not to miss another glasto for the next 5 odd years
JameSemajj
if i was offered 5 thousand pounds, i probably wouldn't go. anything less then id go... eccessive amounts of money doesn't bring you happiness, but enough to live my life and afford glastonbury then i'm happy! bombfrog
I wonder how many people would pay that much to go in the first place? I put £1000-£10000 because I reckon I'd pay a grand for a ticket but not much more.
Joshuwarr
My amount would be about £2000. Could treat my family a bit with that

BinThereDrummedThat
Considering I was paid far more than the cost of ticket to go...I dont think I can answer this question!
Ashaz42
Enough for me to afford EVERY OTHER FESTIVAL this summer.

YouWhat
£750 would be the lowest i would accept
ollyh
1000-10000, or probably about 3k+, as that sort of money for someone who is about to go on a gap year and then uni would be too much to turn down and I'd just have to accept missing glasto as hard as that would be. gemstarrr
enough to do every other festival of the summer and for the next 4 years and to quit my part time job as i wouldn't be able to get the time off work to do that! i don't think money can buy you happiness so it would have to be alot to make up for glastonbury. 5000 would probably be the smallest i would go. OneLittleFish
Nothing could stop me. It's one of the few things that keeps me sane, the thought that for a few days in the summer I can head along to a festival and be cut off from mainstream society, within a barrier where no news creeps its way in, with a load of people all there for a good time and look out for other people. You can be yourself and not feel like a total idiot, all you have to worry about is where you left your tent - and even that's no big deal! 18Alex18
In an ideal world I'd be in a position to say no amount of money could force me to sell it - but realistically - as a poor student - I'd bite someone's hand off for £500 right now - and then put £200 towards next year, have £300 in my pocket and cry myself to sleep for the next two months. Alcatraz
is a gazillion more or less than a killion? if its more a Gazillion
redmad1971
I would take £300. Its only a music festival for christ sake. Then i could buy tickets for the next 2 years at V which i reckon is better. No Guardian reader types there.

benissright
£1,500. And a ticket to hard rock calling. (i am only a student).
coolethan
I'd take a grand - Then I'd buy a ticket for Lattitude (and Thom Yorke will make me happier then anything ever) and I'd go on a big old holiday! I know no festival is better then Glastonbury, but I know no Glastonbury performance will be better then Thom/Radiohead.
