Out of curiosity I checked out a glastonbury search on ebay.

There is someone who is selling 2 different tickets with the same sob story for each. I didnt think ebay was allowing ticket touting

and

Spot the 'BUS'

also another person is selling last years tickets

The last link you put has merely used an illustration of last years tickets. It clearly states:

The image on ebay is not of the orginal tickets. If you wish to see a photograph of the real tickets, please email me

You are right in assuming this is not allowed and I wouldn't be surprised if the listing is taken down early.

However what would you do if (god forbid) something happened to you that made you not able to attend ?

Would you just bin your tickets knowing you cannot get a refund ?

I know if it were me I would at least attempt to claw something back. Even if it does get removed from Ebay early the seller still has enough time to get the message out that his tickets are for sale. Good luck to them I say.

Well it looks pretty genuine to me, looking at the guys 100% feedback. Someone's bid £185 on it. I like the bit that says

"THE TICKET WOULD BE BEST SUITED TO A WHITE MALE AGED 30/45 WITH SHORT DARK HAIR(GO IN AT A BUSY TIME WEARING SUNGLASSES & A FESTIE HAT & YOU SHOULD BE OK)"

Then he adds

"HOWEVER NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN ON THIS ITEM SHOULD THE WINNING BIDDER NOT GAIN ENTRY FOR ANY REASON."

Naughty tho, putting it up for auction. He could've done a Buy it Now at face value.

Good luck to the winner, gonna need it!

The second one has now shown a picture of this year's ticket complete with name and address... A Mr Craig Downing, anyone know him? has he suffered a bereavement?

Also noticed the seller of the second ticket is craigd2512 (who i presume is Craig Downing himself) Looks like they just want to make a profit and thought the bereavement story about a friend would get some sympathy.

The only difference between the listings is the age mentioned in the ad and Craig Downing's ad has not promised to donate any profits to charity. I think this man might be a cad. My advice is to stay well clear.

Would be a shame if someone sabotaged the listing with a ridiculously high bid
