I think this is whats known scientifically as 'a load of bollocks'. Until last year, Glastonbury had been on the same weekend in June for god knows how many years, and there had been an equal share of beautiful and really quite shitty weather. Last year, with the slight change of dates, the weather was great (for the most part), just going to show NO-ONE KNOWS WHAT THE WEATHER WILL BE LIKE. There is no monsoon, and these news 'experts' really love to make assumptions. Everyone relax, its gonna be a scorcher this year.

my OH was working all weekend just gone. on friday i checked the forcast for him, rain it said, allll weekend none stop rain.

i can honestly tell you that it did not rain all weekend, infact it only started raining 30 mins after my OH steped through the door sunday evening after finishing for the weekend.

if the weather man cant even pridicted the weather on a friday for that weekend, then they have no hope of pridicting the weather for 2 weeks in advance.

Hmm, depressing thoughts entering my head again.

Not sure i can take another year of the Rain but hey i know i will be there in the end.

Its one of my fellow travellers i feel sorry for, i have only just managed to persuade to him to return this year after 2007. I think this news will go down like a lead balloon if it stays true.
