Is glasto world cup off?

Reluctantly, I feel I need to step down from organising this event.

I am sure it will still go ahead in some form and continue to raise a fantastic amount for WaterAid.

There is two weeks to go until Glastonbury and normally I would be giddy with excitement but with what's going on in the background (and in public) I cant sit back and enjoy it.

When we came up with this idea at last years cider bus it was to be a bit of fun before this years efestivals Wednesday meet (my favourite part of the festival last year). I thought it would be a good way to get people together and promote a bit of banter on the night. It has since turned into something a lot bigger raising a substantial amount for WaterAid for which I was proud to be able to do.

At no point did I look at this as a way of getting recognition, every decision I made was to benefit the event and WaterAid and try and include as many people from these boards as possible. So in a sense we could have an efestivals celebration. I feel that this will be impossible now as there appears to be too much bad blood in the background.

When something stops being fun, what's the point in continuing with it?

I'll hopefully see you all at the cider bus.

surely everyone can sort things out, get round the table, agree to differ or what ever it takes to get this fantastic idea to go ahead.

would be a crying shame to let all the hardwork go to waste, especially seeing as so much has been raised and Mr E is presenting the cup

I don't know if Hogga has come back to the game but as far as I'm aware (from reading and such) Chazeboy and Noralinplease and others are still going for it.

It's a shame if Hogga doesn't join in after all the effort he's gone to.
