Well...and so it begins officially...

Your User Friendly Guide to this year’s Glastonbury Efestivals meets!

Meets do exactly what they say on the tin. They are an opportunity for you, the solitary Efester stuck behind your computer for months of the year wondering who the hell these weird and wonderful people are who you talk to all day in t’interwebland, to meet the hundreds of other solitary Efesters in person, in the field you have been planning on visiting for the past few months!

The meets are all extremely user friendly and NOT scary at all. There may be crowds galore at some but don’t let this put you off, just approach anyone in an Efests shirt, introduce yourself and then the ball will start rolling to many great conversations, real long lasting friendships and a thousand (well as many as you can remember after all the cider!) memories.

We are NOT a cliquey bunch...EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THESE EVENTS. DON’T BE SHY, SAY HI AND WHO KNOWS WHERE LIFE WILL TAKE YOU FROM THE MOMENT YOU DO! Many an Efester can vouch that some of our best friendships in life have been made and gained from these meets...so what you waiting for...come and join the parties!

TUESDAY

Wasnt going to mention it...but it has been mentioned somewhere...although I thought there was some kind of official badge making with machinery going on at CT...not sure if this is still happening tho!

Sticky labels will make a return if people so choose! Just give it half an hour before you all start changing them round though!

took me 5 minutes to start it off last year

But everyone should by them as it keeps this site going

indeed it does.

This is a tough year for efestivals - so far this year income is down around 30% on last year, even tho the site is more popular than ever; there's simply not the same advertising income around (which is a huge chunk of this site's income).

How many women are expected at the singles meet? Just trying to weigh up my chances. I reckon one in every thousand women may be interested (if they're blind drunk, or just blind for that matter) so if I get a rough number I can work out a ratio and percentage and base my hopes on that

Amazing - will try to make it to the footy cup giving and will do the splits as a late cheerleader- will then most definately be at the cider bus .................. and can't wait to 'not look back' .... infact a shiver has gone right through me at the thought of it !!!!

Would love to be in the Riflemans on Tuesday - my local in the 70's and a regular visitor when I'm in Somerset. Unfortunately only flying in on Thursday night to Southampton (teacher!!). But will be there for Rolf.
