while I think about it, the Wednesday cider bus meet is the best place to collect your monorail badges from scottie (who's handing them out for mikeb) if you're one of those that ordered them.

I think we should set up a welcome team to make the meet more approachable. A couple of us could stand under the fluro flag and greet folk as they arrive. Rather than the shybies just having to walk into the middle of a mob and shout hello to everyone at once. So if you're shy, look for the mongrel, I'll be the one in the efestivals t-shirt drinking cider so that should clear up any confusion

sooooo pleased to read this list Really cheered me up & given me something to look forward (as well as Glasto itself of course!) as was made redundant on Monday - but hey, it's all paid for already & going to be the ultimate pick-me-up (my mate may well end up doing that most of the weekend tho!)

Will try & drag him along to the Wed meet (our coach doesn't arrive til 3pm) & definitely up for the knicker-flinging extravaganza - fantastic!

Nice idea GM! Just got to hope that the shy newbies aren't too put off by the ocean of bods they have to cross just to get to the fluro flag!!! We kinda do a welcoming thing anyway but something more approachable and user friendly can definitely be attained.

I will be at the cider meet and hopefully the world cup if we make it down in time. The stone circle is sounding good too.

Would like to go to the singles meet but not sure how many girls will find me attractive in a boiler suit and face mask in preparation for the Altern8 set!!!

Tried the Derby one but they didn't have any. They did have an overpriced WHSmith, a Costa Coffee, a big board that lit up with different towns and times on it and some guy with a slightly robotic voice who kept shouting that the train now arriving on platform 1 was heading for Plymouth? A far reach by any means from when I used to go into partners as a kid to get the latest pencil tin to stab my compass through

I'm probably being really stupid here but if the Gay & Singles meets leave at 9pm from The Cider bus...where are they going to?! I'm tempted to come but feel a bit shy. Which anybody who knows me would find hilarious. What's the blokes to women ratio likely to be like?
