One of my favourite festival moments was at the Big Chill main stage in 2006. We were sat right at the back just chilling out between acts, when a couple of people started singing happy birthday to their friend.

Within about five seconds the entire field of about 20,000 people had turned round and was singing happy birthday to this girl. The best part was when everyone sang "happy birthday dear la la" because obviously no-one knew her name
