Going by yourself

Basically, back in September/October when I reserved my ticket I thought that by the time of the festival at least one group of people I knew would be going to Glastonbury. As it turns out, I know quite a few people going, only they don't know each other... And so I'm basically going alone, which is really daunting as it's my first Glastonbury. I've been told I can camp with one of my older friends and her mum, which tbh isn't all that appealing, so I just wanted to ask some tips on surviving Glastonbury by myself, I'm really excited but getting increasingly stressed about the issue (which isn't so amazing on top of my A levels!)

Come to some of the EFest meets, they're pinned at the top of this forum, /index.php?showtopic=123559">here so you can meet loads of other people. It's Glasto, you'll not be on your own for long.

I very recently became single and was going as a cpl, but now being single decided to put a thread on here and the feedback made me feel very very positive about going to Glasto alone. I may well be alone, but i wont be lonely. Go to the cider bus meet on the Wednesday and take it from their. Thats what i'm going to do and from what i've seen on Efests their are some good down to earth, likeminded ,fun people to meet

Agreed!

And if you are so inclined, come and watch the footie in front of the pyramid stage on wednesday afternoon, also pinned on the top of the forum. Anybody who isn't friendly will get a firm kick up the bottom.
