Loads of excellent vegetarian food at Glasto mostly away from main stages though.

Read this thread *HERE* should give you info you need.

Hope this is of some use to you. ;)

Blue Moon Burger!

I'm an ardent carnivore but I always get at least one of these in me at every Glasto.

Sorry no pics but I pormise they are good. They're in the Jazzworld field, I think the last stall on the right hand side as you face the stage, closest to the stage, if that means anything

check the woodpiles once they have been mostly taken, there will be some sawdust on the floor underneath im sure theyd like....

but seriously yeah just check out the greenfeilds, in the greenfeild through the arch next to the jazzworld field on the way up to the stone circle (this will all becom clear to you when there) there is a place called the tiny tea tent, next door to that is a pizza shop and i pretty much eat a pizza a day there every fest, great food, even for a carnivore

Vegetarians are not allowed at the festival and there are police with sniffer dogs at each entrance who specifically look for any trace of vegetable, tofu, lentil or quorn residue in your luggage and upon your person. There are also large numbers of stewards who carry out random checks on your bags to find any trace of Linda McCartney propaganda that might be handed out on site.

In addition when you enter the site your welcome pack includes your program, festival guide, potato pegs, a large steak, some sausages and a meat cleaver. You are then invited up to the cow sheds to select your cow for the weekend which will then be used to provide the base for all of your meals during the weekend.

For their sake I hope your veggie friend stays away.

Got trapped in Greenfields/Jazzworld while hungry last year. Not only is there Vegetarian food... IT IS THE ONLY CHOICE in this area of the festival. Wandered for a good 40 minutes looking for meat before caving to some chilli that looked kinda mincey (but was actually quorn I think). Meat eaters beware!
