Last year After Jay Z i stumbled upon an Irish travelling band in the area near the circus. They were playing off the back of some trailor and had about 60 people dancing like f**k & going absolutely nuts! It was the best thing i saw at last years Glasto.

Did anybody see this band? Does anybody know who they were? Does anybody know if they are playing this year?

Before I saw the answer above I was gonna say it sounded like Mad Dog Mcrea!

here they are:

I used to live in Devon (as do they) so saw them loads down there - always amazingly good fun gigs with a huge crowd dancing like loons!

I missed them at Glasto last year as didn't know where or when they were playing

This year I think they're doing Avalon cafe, but not sure when - if anyone knows please tell me!

Bloody hell are they still about. Used to see them a lot locally, and my old band played a gig with them once as well i think

Can't help, but did see them dismantling their stuff an hour or so later and chatting to people who had clearly just finished having an excellent time!

Mad Dog McCrea are apparently on at the Avalon Cafe Bar on Friday. No idea what time though, but may well be worth a look.

Yes I remember seeing a band like this in 2005 - need to check though. Back Soon with the answer.
