More to the point why's it called the 'Pyramid' when it clearly isn't one? All sides have to be triangular and converge at a point (unlike this thread). The Egyptians never whacked on a f**cking great awning on the front of their ones in Giza and that's why they never hosted Glastonbury.

Back to the original point: I'm sticking to my earlier thoughts and if anyone has the audacity to steal and the stupidity to get caught let vigilante justice unfold...

(I think there's probably a band called Vigilante Justice playing somewhere at Download)

Sorry to interupt the sarcasm stampede, a serious answer for a moment.

The tickets have been available, but they haven't publicised that fact - it is after all SOLD OUT, and has been presented as such for some time (even though tickets were still available). This contrasts with last year where they were begging people to buy tickets.

Last year was also an organised criminal gang who targeted all festivals. The police will be a little more savvy to their techniques this year.

Surely this year the increase in thefts is going to be blamed on MP's expenses and the 'dad rock' lineup which means that without Radioface, Coldstop and Chaz n' Dave (or whoever the kids listen to these days) the young ones will have nothing better to do than to go on the rob.

Oh and I would like to know how to get my collection of Gary Glitter records past the sniffer dogs?

I have worked at a few festivals already and the security are really on the ball with organised gangs, and are taking effective measures to stop them, or at least catch them
