He's a very difficult man to pigeonhole as he's swung wildly across the musical spectrum in his career, in the 60s he was folk, 70s country, 80s alt rock and a bit of everything in between.

Hey man. I was in your position in October now I love the old bastard. I would give Harvest , After the goldrush, Everyone knows this is nowhere and On the Beacha listen to. Oh and Zuma. They were the first albums a got into. Top quality man although the first album I listened to was harvest and I did have to give it a couple of listens before I could get into it.

I've already checked out some of the links, he is hard to categorise isn't he. A very independant artist, I like.

He's Canadian. He was excellent live when he was younger from what i can see off youtube - Massey Hall stuff is superb - especially "old man". Not sure if he's still got it cos i haven't really checked
