Not sure if it's a mental health issue, but I've done acid a few times and had an excellent time, yet if I smoke weed I turn into a paranoid wreck more or less everytime. Cant weigh it up myself. I did have a bit of a dodgy experience on mushrooms once where my hands appeared to be pouring with blood and a woman with purple hair was following me around which wasn't pleasant, but most of the time i'm fine with those too.

As someone who is a total amateur when it comes to drugs I steer well clear at Glastonbury, mainly through fear of ruining my weekend and turning myself into a complete idiot in a place I don't know. At least if I was at home I'd feel comfortable in my surroundings.

Seriously strong drug, you cannot control it, takes forever to wear off & you won't sleep. If curiosity is the driving force behind you wanting some, well just don't bother would be my advice.

If your going to take Acid I'd suggest that you start with half a trip. Taking a whole one my be far too intense. Like anything, start small and work your way up so you know what to expect.

I used to take acid on the Friday morning then piss it up like a bastard all day and never had any bad experience, but I'd say it's not for everyone. As others have said, take a half first - and use this handy how f**ked am I guide. If you find yourself having a seemlingly endless conversation about whether or not you're tripping, it means you're tripping your tits off!

Would never touch Acid, or pills or ketamine for that matter, but I find it really sad that mushrooms have bene criminalised. In 2004 there was a lovely little cafe in the Green Fields selling cups of mushroom tea out of a big vat they were cooking up on an old double decker bus. Had such a great time, no paranoia and a real child-like wonder and desire to explore Glastonbury and all its hidden treasures. Such a shame you can't get them anymore.

I once bought some trips of a guy up the stones , then stayed there till the sun came up , on heading back to our tent we thought it would be funny to shout that we were selling morphine and every time someone said morning we changed what he said to to me morphine , anyway to cut a long story short .... (the end) , no all the storm troopers were running round near our camp so i asked 1 of them what all the commotion was about , he said it was OK they think someone round there was selling morphine .

Oh how we laughed ... all tho it was prob not that funny when we was not so high

You can get Philosopher's Stones (truffles) from various websites, but I have no idea as to how good they are. If anyone stumbles upon a supply of mexican/hawaians then a PM is always greatly appreciated
