outdoor/indoor stage

For me its gotta be outside, even in the rain....or especially in the rain.

I have always found tented stages to be too hot/crowded/ poor view etc etc.

Would rather all the stages be outdoor.

Depends on the act. Dont think Bon Ivor in the pissing rain standing at the back of the Other Stage field would be as good as a tent.

Yeah it depends who it is playing. Bruce Springstean outside for defo, but I can't believe fleet foxes are gonna be outside on Pyramid?? Bad decision i reckon, should be John Peel Tent, or even acoustic tent where the sound will be much better.

at Lowlands most of the stages are in tents, even the main stage. Beauty of the main stage is that it also has slopes either side of the stage which are in the open air - best of both worlds. The tents are so massive the only real difference you notice is the lighting - and the rain should there be any.
