Jeez what a way to spend a Saturday ! :P

Hope she is lucky and finds them otherwise there will be 4 other very disappointed people !

I wouldn't like to be in her shoes if they don't turn up - she will get lynched !

How awful if it is true!

There was someone on questions forum who posted that theiy girlfriends work cleaners threw their tickets into the recycling. Apparently See agreed to replace them and they could pick them up on the day. It surprised me a bit as I remember in 2008 or 2007 someone on the forums was going through the bins of their flat looking for their tickets and had no luck but See wouldn't replace.

My brother once threw his boarding pass in the bin with a sandwich wrapper just after going through security at Heathrow.

When he discovered it was missing he ran all the way back, emptied out the bin and found it, AND wasn't stopped by security for suspicious behaviour. So you never know she might still find them...

But if the organisers were gonna issue replacements and suspected a scam surely they can just check the reg numbers?

Let's be realistic here - at a festival with 200,000 people in attendance in one form or another, it would be pretty idiotic not to have a standard procedure for lost tickets - even if 0.1% of people lost their tickets that's still 200 people. I'm sure given the photo registration system that they would reissue (with some sort of credible excuse, even if on the official site it says they won't)...

Unfortunately, if the tickets are delivered to ticket holders, and subsequently lost, destroyed or misplaced, we cannot replace them.

They clearly don't want to make it appear easy, otherwise people wouldn't take so much care with their tickets, and more people would try scamming, selling tickets then claiming lost etc.

If nothing else, surely just deny that you ever received them? Claim that the signature isn't yours etc..?
