The_Amazing_Oblong
I have avidly read through the thread absorbing the needs and wants of most of our group and have managed to come up with a delightful little rota that would allow us to get through the majority of wishes our collective (just my little pet word for our group) in as orderly fashion as possible. I will be posting out the general rules and observances over the next few days but if I may precipitate that as to when they arrive if you could check appendix B subsection 3 and look toward the bottom of table 1012b you will see I found it necessary to change the venue. I decided it was going to be too busy and loud at Glastonbury Festival to hold said meeting and thus moved it to a lovely functional room just off the A5 near Hay on Whye. It will be a shame of course to miss all the bands but we all know they are far too loud and this would severely impact on the effectiveness of the aforementioned meeting. I hope no-one thinks I'm setting myself up as a self-elected chairperson here, just see me as a facilitator.
tommmy
Whilst you're there maybe you could form a protest group against potholes or fortnightly bin collections. Bloody council, honestly. I'm going to write them a letter.

dbv8
Lets hope we meet somewhere where there arent groups of dodgy looking teenagers. They worry me somewhat.
Spindles
This year I have a rather natty BHS cardie to wear to the meet, as well as some lovely espadrills. Can I assume we will be finding a quiet corner to enjoy a quiet port and moan about anything and everything?

Spindles
Indeed. I think that getting rid of those awful youngsters means we could get someone more suitable, like vera lynn or maybe that nice perry como.

string
I'm 46 and attending my 4th Glasto on the bounce. God only knows what I did before. Anyhow, there are 8 of us codgers. One nipper at 34 with the reset 42 and above. However from pre Glasto discussions there aint much chance of us acting our age I'm afraid. whisty
They should fence you lot into the Acoustic field & only let those under 35 out to roam the rest of the fun. Edited May 25, 2010 by whisty
