Was there a technical problem with their sound quality/feedback or were they seriously bad?? I was really looking to seeing them at Glastonbury, but am now wondering whether to bother.

There looked to be some sound problem, the bassist and singer were looking at each other before they played Death and the bassist had to stop half way through the song to tune up

There seems to be a lot of bad reports of the coverage of the Pile of Shight festival, which doesn't surprise me. Either the sound quality or the behaviour of the acts. Maybe the mystical wibbliness of the island is doing something strange to the acts. Or maybe it's just a piece of shit festival.

It's weird - I saw them supporting Glasvegas before I'd heard any of their stuff and thought the singer's voice was awesome and the they were generally spot on. But the coverage tonight was appalling - the bassist was way out and the singer was all over the place....and by all accounts that's about normal.

Maybe I got lucky on one of their few good nights....

Let's hope the Glasto sound engineers are taking note - they've had problems in the past too. The Killers has a really bad time a couple of years ago.

on ITV 2 now the sound is welll and truly fd up. Ive seen them live and his sounds like everything is being played through a huge pad on cotton wool!

they were poor when I saw them live too (ableit for free).

Last time I saw them, in Feb, the vocalist's voice was starting to sound a bit strained. They've toured almost constantly since so I wouldn't be surprised if he's struggling. Still, that's the price of fame.

After seeing this band on the Tv from Isle Of Shite i have come to the FULL and final conclusion that this band are utter garbage and id rather spend and hour in a stinking portaloo than watch them.

I read the title of this thread wrong and thought it was about them sounding quality.

Glad I was wrong as surely nobody could think they sound anything other than cack.
