Another death at rockness.

A 22 year old man attending the rockness music festival ...... has died.

The man was taken to raigmore hospital on saturday evening but died there.

Police said they did not believe it was drug related, but appeared to be a medical matter.

The mans family have been informed.

I'm really sad - I was standing behind the boy when he became ill. I pointed out to my friends that he appeared to be in distress. His friend was on the phone to someone and kept checking on the boy, looking worried.

A number of paramedics turned up and started to care for the boy. He had, at this point, moved from his wheelchair to the ground and was clearly upset.

I did wonder later that night if he was ok and am extremely upset to find out he died. But one thing that I did think was, what a remarkable boy to carry on doing what he enjoyed, despite his disability.

I also feel extremely sorry for his friend - he must be devastated, but he got help as soon as possible and quite clearly couldn't have done anything to prevent it happening.

A sad end to an amazing weekend.
