Taxi drop off

Last year there was a newly designated taxi drop off area which was quite close to the bus drop off.

When we tried to cross the road and walk in via the bus station but were redirected by stewards along the road and into the car park eventually coming to gate d. This took so much more time than just walking in via gate a (bus station gate)

can anyone tell me if it is possible for us to walk in via the bus enterance?

also is it possible to be left off close to gate b? Ideally going through gate b would be easiest for us in relation to where we would like to camp.

What?! You are joking! So we didn't have to get our taxi to drop us at Bath and West and wait hours for a shuttle bus? Gutted.

maybe our taxi driver just made that up..

tbh the time it took us to walk round and though the car parks you would have been better getting the bus from bath and west!

That journey was total FAIL.

We were only in a taxi because our car broke down in Gloucester. Hahah. I bet there was a taxi drop off, just to make it an even more ridiculous journey

There's definitely a taxi drop off - it's a little layby about 500 yards down the road from one of the entrances...think it's the pedestrian gate A. Used it to leave last year and from what I remember they didn't let me go out the coach entrance.
