mrs_b_with_an_e
Due to me working I did not get the opportunity to sort out the port and cheese meet. However I am thinking along the lines of a "picnic" type of meet next year. Edit: One year I organised a bbq for a different message board and through the evening we fed nearly 40 people I think
Rufus Gwertigan
So it's getting close to that time again. I hope we are all planning our cheese boards

nominaomi
Rufus, I am deeply offended that you have brought this thread back, when last glasto, being an eager little newb that I was, I took 2 kinds of cheese and port with me for a cheese and port meet which never happened!! Fortunately when mashed hombrederayo and I enjoyed the cornish yarg under the gazebo at CT, when you were nowhere to be found! If I didn't love you, you would be in trouble! GreenFestivalMan
I love cheese, especially when not drinking. Now I don't have the option of taking an ice box with me, but I usually will take a nice camembert or even some Stilton with me. But has anyone any ideas of a different cheese, that doesn't mind getting warm, or even where I can buy cheese on site. Someone said there was but I am unsure. mrs_b_with_an_e
And so saw the return of the cheese thread - woooot! Fingers crossed for a cheesy picninc this year - although any stinking bishop will HAVE to be consumed on the Wednesday for fear of unchilled reeking stench. Mind you saying that, after 5 days of en mass non-washing, an over ripe one might be a welcome waft for some? hmmm...
