madspaceangel
Alcohol makes me want cheese. Cheese makes me want alcohol. Vicious circle. My Name is MSA and I am addicted to cheese (of every kind) and alcohol (of selected kinds). I NEVER take cheese sarnies to work. I'd get struck off. hellcats
I love cheese, especially when not drinking. Now I don't have the option of taking an ice box with me, but I usually will take a nice camembert or even some Stilton with me. But has anyone any ideas of a different cheese, that doesn't mind getting warm, or even where I can buy cheese on site. Someone said there was but I am unsure. I will make a point of hitting the Sainburys in Glasto for a cheese run before I get on site now I will the man with "Rufus" on his jacket

ukslim
I refute this claim that any cheese is OK in the warm. Ever had a warm sandwich made with cheap cheddar? It sweats. It's horrible.

nominaomi
All this talk of cheese has made me plan my luncheon for on the train to castle carey. I'm going for a nice bit of mature chedder with ham and country chutney in a rustic cheese roll... mmmmmmmmmmm Or Manchego and chorizo in an olive roll.... hmmm, decisions decision!! lofichic
I am lactose intolerant, and you can eat as much extra mature farmhouse cheddar (say 2 years old or more) as you like, as long as its the proper farmhouse stuff and not mass produced with added milk solids at the end, because the lactose gets aged out of it. No idea how... Which is why I have a serious question to ask - does anyone know how old the Glastonbury cheese is?

Rufus Gwertigan
I use the word luncheon in a kind of ironic fashion hehe Although, my Mum's from Liverpool and she says Lunch (not Luncheon though, thats just me! hehehe) NKP x
