Hi everybody

I'm so glad i've stumbled upon this forum.

I will be going to EOTR on my own for the first time, although i've been to other festivals on my own before.

I doubt i'll be able to make the thursday night as i'm only coming from Southampton and can't really justify the extra cost (although i may have a look at some b&bs and try to find a bargain).

Anyway i'd love to meet up with you all on the friday.

Just about to join the facebook group above and look forward to meeting up in a couple of weeks.

Matt

Cheers for the PM Geoflogie.

I have also requested to join the facebook group - although this is another site that i cannot access at work (cant get facebook at all, and i can only browse efests, cant post or read/send PMs). I can get facebook on my phone though, so will hopefully be able to find a few faces that way (Initials MG for id purposes, my photo has me wearing glasses and a green t-shirt).

ANyhow, i have Geoflogie's mobile now so will be meeting up with you all somehow. I've also ordered an E-fests T-Shirt, hoping the Bristol postal strikes dont screw things up for me, and it arrives before Friday! Wearing an e-fests t-shirt will hopefully help with recognising each other. I will also be wearing my Glastonbury Monorail badge which may or may not make sense to some of you!

Looking forward to meeting you all, can't believe its less than a week now

Hi everyone,

I have just found out that the person I was going to go with can't make it, so I will be heading down to EOTR on my own.

The efest campsite and meet-ups sound amazing - how do I become a part of these?

I am probably getting there Friday lunchtime - I live in London, but visiting some friends in Bristol, then taking the train to Salisbury and getting the bus from there.

This group sounds great as I was not not looking forward to spending three days on my own!

Cheers,

Kieran.

Kudos to everyone who got the camp off the ground - it really was the best way to spend EotR, and it was lovely talking, drinking, jumping over things and watching music with you all. The best festival I've been to, with too many highlights to mention them all (but, on the music side, Dirty Projectors, Joe Gideon & the Shark and the Hold Steady must be at the top). If the camp's there again next year, you can probably count me in! Pete x

Oh god I still keep thinking who the hell is fogged!?!? lol.... Thank you everyone too... it was a great idea to do this and thanks Mandy for starting this thread just when I found the efests forum. Ben if anyone should be part of a group called "Happy Campers" its you!!! Grrrr please come back.... Thanks also to Geof for coordinating it all and getting us a good spot on the camp site and talking vinyl.
