1) Faith No More - without any hesitation totally must see these

2) The Prodigy - missed them at Download a few years ago (made the mistake of doing GnR)

3) Brand New - get to see them in Manchester next week but can't pass up a big stage set

4) Mad Caddies - never seen them live but they look good fun

5) Municipal Waste - they were great at Download last year

6) AFI - liked this band for years so have to give them a shot

7) Lostprophets - I know they can pull off a good gig (and I've seen a disappointing radiohead before - although now I'm in a dilemma cos I know Radiohead have the potential to be amazing - - this could be a last minute decision made on the day!)

8) Deftones - In a weird way I think their singer is cute (plus they rock as well)

9) Placebo - in an even weirder way their lead singer is cute (and yes they too rock)

10) Anti-Flag or Leftover Crack or New Found Glory - or all three and my list just goes to 12

:D

Faith No More

Deftones

Radiohead

Dananananaykroyd

Manchester Orchestra

Brand New

Grammatics

Pulled Apart By Horses

Municipal Waste

Lethal Bizzle

An extra mention goes to Tim Minchin too (with him not being strictly a "band" and all that).

I've not bothered to even look at potential clashes or anything yet but I'd probably say so far I'm looking forward to these the most. There's actually a hell of a lot I'm looking forward to this year.

Swings and Roundabouts I guess...

Radiohead - Goes without saying, seen them already and they're bloody good - Can't wait for potentially the most epic festival closer i've ever seen.

Faith no more - So badass, i love their little niche they have carved themselves in rock music, and i love how alot of wastemans just don't get it... WE CARE ALOT! ;)

Then in no particular order:

Deftones - They have some unbeleivable tunes and a psychadelic element to their metal that i love.

Placebo - Great lyrics, really solid rocking band and i like what they stand for.

MSTRKRFT - Only got into them recently but a really solid party electro-house techno mashup pair of dj's

Streetlight manifesto - The soundtrack of my youth, so much energy, i can't wait for this big skank.

Prodigy/The bronx - depends how i feel, both will be off the charts, three cheers for body abuse.

Metric - Really solid live band and a shade above the rest in their genre imo.

Soulsavers w/ Mark Lanegan - These guys will be something special, some truly epic tunes.

Brand New - One of those teen loves that never went away, every album is amazing in it's own right.

In no particular order:

Radiohead

Faith no More

Living end

Eagles of Death Metal

Placebo

Maximo Park

Vampire Weekend

hmmm find it hard to pick 10 I'll be seeing NO MATTER WHAT - I mean if one of my friends was ill or something then I'd probably miss anyof them (ok poss not FNM...) and there are ones I'll def see cos my friends all want to, like Pordigy and Deftones that I wouldn't put on a list just for me.

There are quite alot of the smaller bands that I'm just starting to listen to and like to that I'd really like to catch, but that would make my list more than 10 but here they are too:

Airbourne Toxic Event

AFI

New Found Glory

White Lies

White Denim

Riverboat Gamblers

And probably some more I'll fidn I like whenI listen more....

Prodigy (I hope they put on an amzing show with the bass I heard about at Radio 1 bid weekend)

Lostprophets (As soon as I haerd of the clash with Radiohead I knew that I would be dropping most of my mates and p***ing off to see LP)

Brand New (I haven't heard all their work but from what Ive heard and got I like)

Faith No More (Ive got to see these as I believe Ill end up regretting seeing Billy Talent over this Mike Pattons influenchal band. These should definately be main stage)

Placebo (Prefer their old stuff so I hope they play a mixture of old and new)

Madina Lake

Rise Against

Sonic Boom Six

Deftones

Funeral For A Friend

Theres only a few more than this that im genuinally want to a see as I believe the lineup to be ok but not as good as previous years for my music tastes.

Pretty random yet short list.

Radiohead (they are amazing when you're stoned, I won't hear otherwise)

AFI

Mad Caddies

Rise Against

Faith No More (I thought they were going to be main stage?)

Leftover Crack

Bouncing Souls

I'm a lot more diverse than that; I will be watching the Arctic Monkeys, I will be watching the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, before the Mad Caddies I'll wander around listening to a few bands that I wouldn't otherwise have given the time of day. I'll be watching a lot more than ten bands, for sure, but there genuinely aren't 10 that I'd be gutted to miss.

radiohead. (well, of course.)

the prodigy. (oh my god, prodigy.)

crystal castles. (after last years show - you'd be a fool to miss them)

white denim. (one of my personal favourite bands)

the black lips. (saw them recently, amazing live!)

vampire weekend. (big fan, should be enjoyable)

yeah yeah yeahs. (like the new album, should put on a good show)

the horrors. (new album is awesome, and the old stuff will be a laugh)

lightspeed champion. (his album was my best of the year last year, want to hear new stuff!)

passion pit. (damn good pop.)
