I saw this bollocks the other day. The forums slate this booking and it is a waste of a slot really. It could have gone to a band that last years R&L festival goers didn't see. I'm not against bands playing years in a row but come on, not a slot that high...

Ive always thought the singer has one of the worst voices around now adays. Dont really know if this is generally accepted, but i just hate them live because of it.

Excellent in Olympia when i saw them, but not an outdoor band from what i gather. I shall go and see but i can't see their sound working.

I saw their set two years ago and a bit of last year (was at Justice for most of it I think) and am ashamed to say I will probably be there this year because I want to see Radiohead. I know I'm just encouraging them to get Bloc party next year as well.

Are bloc party even touring this year? Do they even have a new record out?

Well 'Intimacy' did come out officially after last years festival.. i think they only played Mercury off it last year. I did see them last year and the only reason i'd see them this year is to see 'Halo' live (i think its their best ever song). But nothing is getting me away from that Dance tent.
