Well I'm 24, and never got to see them when I liked them at age 15. They've only recently reformed after 4-5 years and, against all odds, put on a hell of a show at Download. Sure they're not particularly "good", but they are great fun!

if they didn't clash with anyone i would see them at a festival as they are quite fun though but it isn't really for me anymore.

with regards to blink 182, greenday etc. i much prefer both bands older stuff and don't really like either bands newer stuff. i will occasionally chcuk dude ranch or nimrod on my cd player. it is a similar thing if they were at a festival now for me.

it must be weird for all of the above having such bad lyrics (in limp bizkits sake) and talking about w*nking, college parties etc at their age, married with children.

i agree with what you are saying, i would still enjoy seeing them but it must be weird for them personally to sing these songs.

while it is true that "Every band sings songs they wrote a long time ago that aren't relevant to them anymore" ......most bands will have general themes that stand the test of time better than singing about knocking one off.
