I feel above Limp Bizkit, I think the majority of the population can feel above that band and I don't mind saying it. I hate this band with a passion, have done since I was 11 and I certainly wouldn't get this pasionate about any other band I disliked but they truely are the worst band from the worst period of music and I honestly can't understand why anyone would listen to their music. Im not a huge fan bu they do have some catchy singles and i would personally rather watch them than several bands on the main stage who i probably wouldnt recognize a single song. The lyrics may be poor but that doesnt mean they cant be entertaining. I peronally dont always want to look deep into music and how talented people are and just have a laugh. Limp bizkit may not change the world and have greta influence but the same could eb true about the ciurteeners, funeral for a friend , brand new and the bulk of the bands on the mainstage. I think the line up this year is actually shaping up to be ok, I don't think i've ever had to go between stages as much as i will have too this year but otherwise there's quite alot of bands from many genres that i'd see.

I guess the only way i can really assess the line up is based upon whether i think my £180 is a good deal for the amount of bands i'd see and the unique camping experience of Reading, and i guess this year is about right.

£180 for Radiohead, FNM, Deftones, Placebo, Prodigy, Streetlight Manifesto, MSTRKRFT, Mad Caddies, Soulsavers, New found glory, Rise against, Delphic, The Qemists, Manchester orchestra, Brand new, Metric, Rival schools, A Wilhelm scream and a host of other bands i will probably check out while i'm in the arena, combine that with being able to camp with a really awesome group this year and i think it's money well spent.

I know alot of people don't like it this year, and i can see why, but i decided to just ignore the shocking bookings (Gossip/glasvegas headlining NME?) and try to lose my preconceived notions of what the festival should be and take it for what it is, and i think i'll quite enjoy Reading this year.

I don't agree with this. I think Dashboard Confessional are shit, however I had much fun listening to them on the main stage in '06 because it was hilariously stupid. Much like how I'd react if I saw Limp Bizkit - I don't like their music, however I reckon it'd be brilliant.
