Just to throw it out there. If there's a gap for another band to be added on the NME stage low down, InMe have a new album out on the 31st of August. Can't see them being big enough to play mainstage anymore, but they could well open the NME Saturday. That said, the aforementioned new album is in the top 5 pre-orders in the hard rock section on play.com! Might be more popular than I realised

I wish the organisers would realise that a band like madness would go down really well. They seem to think that any band pre 1990 are a risk (unless they are a headliner).

fun loving criminals have about 3 good songs!

they are one of those bands that i have happened to seen about 6 times on accident.....you go to a free gig or a festival and they happen to be playing!

I realised unlike every other available slot since the lineup was announced, I haven't yet suggested Idlewild as a possibility for the last three on the mainstage. Wouldn't have thought it would happen, but you never know.
