sdaveak47
Animal Collective or Neil Young If your in two minds deffo go and see Neil Young, lets face it a year ago no one had heard of the Animal Collective, and probably in a years time they'd of f**ked off again to make another 100 albums that only readers of drowned in sound care about. If your a fan of AC go and see them and have a great time, but if you were undecided Neil Youngs got to be the one, you might never get another chance to see him, and the reviews of recent headline shows he's done have have been glowing. or just go and see Q-Tip

FrayBentos
Let me have a peek at my last.fm - although it will be heavily influenced by having just been to the two ATPs It indicates the following The Hold Steady Holy f**k - their ATP was one of the greatest things I've ever seen The Mae Shi Errors Deerhunter Future of the Left The National Casiotone for the Painfully Alone The Death Set Stars The Whispertown 2000 Grizzly Bear Removing more obvious things (Radiohead, Beirut, The Boss etc) but plenty more where that came from if you want more
robith
cheers I desperately want to go to ATP, but very difficult for me Do really want to see Holy f**k but missed them last glasto for silly reasons Love Deerhunter, Grizzly Bear and the National but plenty of bands there ive not listened to cheers Ive been listening to the new Dirty Projectors album recently, also Set Em Wild, Set Em Free by the Akron Family is very good, and the Dark was the Night Compliation album which is excellent Aye keep em cumming
ToxicJesus
Some of AC's older stuff is unlistenable... have you tried listening to Danse Manatee?! I'm prepared to let them get away with all their previous wrong-doings because all that bizarre experimentation has finally culminated in an absolutely blinding album. Into my Arms
There is no one at the whole festival I would rather see over Neil Young. He's the kind of artist who if you like him you REALLY like him, not wanting to sound corny here but he is in my soul! Seriously he saved my f**kin life man for reasons I wont go into now but I just love the ol' f**ker ha! Go and listen to Like a Hurricane on Spotify and you will see that even his rockin' stuff has so much melody x
FrayBentos
If you like those three have you heard of Shearwater? Pretty good. Also if you like the earlier AC stuff like Danse Manatee try f**k Buttons. Obvs you can never go wrong with Shellac. Bit old school, but loving Trail of Dead recently You heard Twilight Sad? They're EPIC
