Spare Glastonbury Ticket - looking for a volunteer . . .

There was somebody asking on one of the boards about how to get a ticket with no money, maybe you could track him down.

sorry if this is *completely* obvious, just trying to help, but...

i'd say you'd be better off asking on websites that put volunteers and volunteer work 'employers' in touch with each other. the only people you'll get here are people who really want to go to glastonbury (and rightly so, of course), so doing 8 hour work shifts (or whatever it is) isn't going to sound too good. i'd also hate to think you might get someone saying yes, then p#ssing off the second they're inside and they want to see regina spektor rather than working.

I currently have a stalker that desperatly wants to come to Glastonbury just cos I am there...DONT think I will be passing this information on though.

Good luck...the stall sounds ace! And there will deffo be types heading over for the badgemaking.

all sorted and PAID FOR now - an excellent response - over 500 extra website hits - 20 phonecalls - 50+ e.mails and 3 excellent candidates (on paper) VERY tough decision but the lady we decided upon has just come back from an Indian orphanage less than 50Km away from Aarti Home - SPOOKY!

See you all soon!

khushy

PS - please come and visit us at Glastonbury and help support these wonderful kiddies . . .

Khushy, going a little bit off thread here (Neil - hope thats OK, clearly a good cause) but just a thought, have you ever contacted Crispin School in Street, they have a long history in supporting endevours like yours and the person you'd probably need to speak to is Frances Thomson, who is, I think, the Deputy Head, she lives in Glastonbury and I think is pretty much involved in all kinds of things in the local community.
