How much wad you taking?

I'm taking my tent, sleeping bag, spare clothes and £400.00.

Arriving Thursday, so that's £100.00 a day. Should be enough to get elegantly w*nkered.

No food. No drink. Buying everything there. And some.

What about you guys?

As much as I can scrounge from my wages and my parents. Am taking some alcohol and my parents will be bringing some food though.

Food @ an average of £4.50 x 4 times a day = £18

Drink @ an average of £3.50 x 8 pints a day = £28 Total each day = £46 x 5 days = £230.

I'll top the booze up with a crate of Strongbow and 2xbottles of Jager....

Not being funny mate but £400 is way too much. Get yourself at least some spirits and maybe a crate so you've got some beers back at the tent. Should bring your spendage right down. I normally take £250 but come home with plenty.

I'm with madabout G on this one. It's my big holiday of the year, I'm not going to spend it scrimping and worring about every 10p

Probably £150, I buy 1 meal a day at £4.50 x 5= £22.50

So that leaves approx £123/5= 24.60 a day for alcohol, about 7 pints a day.

On top of the food and drink I'l be taking should be enough

Sorry about all the maths needed it down somewhere to make sense of it!
