Both have been expected to play, but they've only just put it up

Seth Lakeman is unconfirmed which day at which site and stage

VV Brown is playing Chelms on Sat and Staffs on Sunday, unconfirmed stage

Its looking very likely Pixie Lott is playing too, but she still hasn't confirmed herself

Apart from the Sunshine Underground this next announcement for me is going to be VERY disappointing.

They made the first one back in March when tickets went on sale then they made another in April, and then nothing for 2 months! the festival is in 8 weeks and they have a few acts on all three main stages still to be announced, and the whole of the Union and perhaps the Sessions too

2 announcements in nearly 4 months. How f**king lazy

Mind you I just looked at it and theres only 2 main stage spots left and 2 4music stages spots left 1 for each day on both, and then theres 10 spots in the Arena

So thats 14 spots for the 3 main stages [Vstage, 4music, The Arena]

A lot of those spots will go to the above, at least half of the spots I think]

Just gave VV Brown the benefit of a hearing, not my cup of tea at all. Taken in isolation on her own it's ok, but with all the rest of the w*nk they've announced sorry, she sounds vaguely like a paint-by-numbers cut price Amy Winehouse substitute. Those 10 or so spaces better be filled by a few reasonable names......
