When is the cheese and wine meet?

Can I suggest that we have it in the first couple of days?

If we have the meet on the Sunday, the cheese might be a little ripe.

I think we're just adding the cheese and wine activities to the trip to SC currently

Oh and ps.. I will prolly be rather drunk already at said cheese and wine meet, please don't let me think I'm tough and eat blue cheese, I'm properly allergic!! LOL

Port and cheese - that sounds like my kind of meet

I'll be there with a bottle of Taylors 10 year old Tawny port and some cheese. Just need to decide whether to bring a quality crunchy mature cheddar, leerdammer or mini babybel’s .

I favour a nice strong nutty cheddar - one that hits the roof of your mouth. Colliers is nice (black packet, most supermarkets). Also a nice Roquefort or Stilton, and a bit of gorgonzola. Don't know how well those are suited to life in a tent though.

Might have to see if I can pick up some Tasty Lancashire. That's a real roof of your mouth cheese.

Damn it, my mouth's watering at the thought of it. :P

I'll be sticking to the Chedder but the misses will no doubt be bringing some nasty blue stuff.

Who's bringing the Jacob's crakers selection box?

When we went to see The Who in Leeds there was this old van selling wine and cheese with crusty bread, has anyone seen anything similar at Glastonbury?
