Lonecamper!
Hi All Title and descriptions says it all really. After a quick survey of possible groups of mates, no one else seems to be going this year. Would be sorry to miss out but not keen on camping alone... Ideas? Runner
You can't miss it, so don't even start thinking that. Back in 2007 I decided not to go at the last minute (on line buying tickets), didn't think it would be fair leaving the kids etc.... was one of the worst decisions of my life, especially watching it on tv, even if it was muddy So, go onto this thread, read up and get your name down. Please ..... !!!! /index.php?showtopic=111372&hl=triangle">http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/index.p...amp;hl=triangle Peace x

refriedgenes
I for one find it easier and more relaxing to go on my own. You're not faced with endless standing around debating which band to go and see, or which food to sample. And if you get bored somewhere and want to and amble, you don't have to arrange anything, you just stand up and go. Also, I think it makes me personally more sociable. If I was with a bunch of mates, I'd only really talk to them. Being on my own, I talk to anyone and everyone. You'll be surrounded by 170,000 friends, you just don't happen to know their names yet. It's incredibly liberating. I think I'm probably weird.
raw-edge
Go for it on your own. Loads of people do. Me included this time around. I do have a few friends who I know who are going and will endeavour to meet up with them at somepoint over the festival but I will be spending most of the time on my own. Ashaz42
I'm going with one friend, who's working for Oxfam there, so I'll be alone for the majority of the festival too. I couldn't care less, it means I do what I wanna do and nobody else tries to persuade me otherwise. And I agree with the above poster who said it makes them more sociable, I'll definately chat to more people and they'll probably be more likely to talk to somebody who's sitting alone at the stone circle.
