From the chat board - thought this would be useful for some, as I for one was planning to take a load of mugs in our camper for tea. It sounds like there's a danger they won't be allowed.. despite being used in some places on site.

As far as security will be concerned, ceramic mugs count as glass - I know this for certain, cos a few years ago I arrived at the fest with a box of efestivals mugs in the boot of my car, and having been stopped for quick search, they wouldn't even let my car into the car parks with the mugs in the boot.

yeah, most of the tea tents give out ceramic mugs for a small deposit. I forgot to return mine and brought it home. So not very clever

Think of it in these terms. If it can break and leave sharp pieces that could injure the animals on the Farm then you're probably not allowed to take it.

Common sense really.
